Breakfast, Lunchtime and After-school clubs are available in Tap, Jazz, Modern & Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Cheer-leading, Majorette, Street, Hip-Hop and Disco.

The classes are offered to children of all ages and abilities. They are not only fun, but dancing helps to improve fitness, co-ordination, balance, improvisation techniques and creativity. The children are split according to age and ability, thereby helping each dancer to achieve their own personal potential.

Children will dance to a variety of popular songs including Disney, pop-chart hits, stage music and classical.

Medals, Trophies and Dance-related prizes are offered each week to children who have the best attitude, who put in the most effort or who put in the best performance. These are incentives for the children to work together and learn as much as they can during the class.

During the lessons the children practice routines and are always encouraged to be creative and offer their own opinions and moves. Often performances are put-on by the children for their families at the end of each term, to show what they have learnt in each style of dance.

1st Step Sports can assist with booking & delivering your child’s birthday party. Prices start from £75 & all packages include:-

• Help with finding & booking the venue
• Fully supervised coaching for all children from anywhere between 1 & ½ hours – 2 & ½ hours
• All equipment needed

• 5 medals for competition winners

The birthday party involves the children playing fun, interactive & exciting games, requiring them to use different parts of their bodies as well as their mental abilities such as improving their hand-to-eye co-ordination. So whilst they will be having fun they will also be exercising too, & not forgetting having a big match as well. The party can take place on Grass, Astroturf or an Indoor hall. A 1st Step Sports birthday party will ensure that your son/daughter has a birthday to remember.

1st Step sports strive to be accommodating to suit yours & your son(s)/daughter(s) wishes for the day. There are also special discounts available when booked as a joint party with a friend or relative.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to level two standard in one or more different sports, they must also have a attended a child protection course and a 1st aid course within the last two years

The hours would be mainly afternoons working on after school clubs and evening clubs

Good rates of pay are offered with the chance to gain valuable experience and possible further qualifications.
